Stayed at this hotel for 1 night. Right on river and 7 mins easy walk from rail station. 2 mins walk across the bridge and you are in city centre. Just returned from a lovely stay at the Queens Hotel. I travelled with 3 children and it was perfect. Very central for all the tourist spots and close to the train station. This was a nice hotel if the decour a bit flowery for my taste, staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent location for shopping and nightlife and very easy to find. Plus they directed us to the cheapest parking in York. Bonus!!! Would stay again, although my favourite is still the Ramada Encore. more
