The Groves is set in a tranquil but central city up market culdesac just 10 minutes walk from York Minster. There is ample free parking. A delightful Hotel close to the City Centre. Friendly, helpful staff which is important for a lady travelling alone. Lovely breakfast and a pleasant bar/lounge to relax in. The hotel was quiet and the room, which was in a very nice annex across the road from the main building, was spacious and spotlessly clean. Furniture in good condition and tea/coffee facilites ample.
