The bed is wonderfully comfortable, the breakfast is of quality ingredients and wonderfully cooked. The place is spotless, not far from town and the owners so helpful. Need I say more? more

We stayed in Holmwood House in November 2008. We had the room with a four poster bed, which the housekeeper said was their best room. I have booked many a stay via an establishment's website. I typically check reviews, but I don't always pay attention to them. This is one instance in which I wished I had. I booked Holmwood house based on the content of their website and the attributions of quality recognition that it represented. The reality was, in my opinion, something less.... more
