The theory for this hotel is great. Wooden Floors, Sofa Bed, Small workplace, walk in Shower. Staying here is soulesss and like having a bed in a meeting room at the office. just returned from 3 day stay at ramada. rooms were extremely basic and the beds were like something from a religious pilgrimage stay. Its lucky I prefer a hard bed as a 6 inch matress above plywood ensures rigidity. the bathroom & floors could have been cleaner. Stayed here 2 nights and was impressed. I travel a lot and was surprised how close to everything this hotel was. It doesn't have parking, but there is a car park close by which is secure and costs about £10 a day. You won't need your car in York as most places are pedestrian only and congestion is bad.
