We booked a weekend stay to see friends and tour York. Only a 5 minute walk to the centre of the city, yet tucked down a side street so we had a very peaceful sleep. Large rooms, comfortable bed and good breakfast. Sheila served us at breakfast, and should be awarded as the happiest breakfast waitress in the UK. Maureen... More

After reading trip advisor reviews opted to stay at Elliotts for 2 nights with friends and we were not disappointed it certainly lived up to expectations and therfore have no hesitation recommending this B&B. We were greeted by Maureen who was lovely, she made us feel very welcome and was very helpful throughout our stay. This is a friendly B&B... More

A short stroll through a beautiful park will get you to the middle of town. The bed was huge (I could lay in the middle and stretch out my arms and struggle to touch the edges). The bathroom was so cute and breakfast was great. The lady who served us was so lovely. Maureen and her husband were very helpful... More

My friend and I stayed for a night. We had a huge room, comfy bed, warm and cosy. The only thing I would say is that we can hear the train passing by from time to time. The breakfast was very fresh and tasty, the lady who served us breakfast was very nice and cheerful. We didn't met the owner,... More

We stayed here for one night, and it was a pleasant stay. The room was quite small and the bathroom was tiny. The room & bathroom was clean (although the bathroom mirror appeared to be very dirty) and decorated with a homely feel rather than modern/contemporary design. One thing we didn't like was the fact that the bed had blankets... More

Elliotts is clean, comfortable and centrally located to York's historic center. The innkeeper, Maureen, made sure we had a great stay. Our room was very spacious and comfortable and well decorated (we had the triple room). We would certainly stay there again.

A warm clean and friendly B&B Just a short walk from the railway station via a footbridge over the river. The town centre can be reached by a short cut through the museum park which is a delight. The food was good and the staff friendly. The only reservation is that the advertised resident computer didn't work (didn't checkout wifi)... More

Elliots is an amazing place in York - highly recommend it! Can't believe how nice it was and the amazing breakfast we got for such a reasonable price. The owners were so welcoming and helpful. It is close to the main part of York but in a quiet neighbourhood which is nice. The room was spacious, luxurious, modern and relaxing.... More
