Hotel tired and shabby in many areas. Bathroom in need of thorough clean and upgrade. Room basic to say the least. Staff uninterested and generally not very helpful. My 'poached' egg exploded in my face, didn't chance breakfast again! Bar and restaurant appeared closed during our visit. How this hotel merits a 3 star rating we will never know. more

Although in a great location, the room and in particular bathroom was in need of a thorough clean. Round the taps etc had not been properly cleaned for months and the cornicing in the bedroom was garlanded with fly-laden cobwebs! Sat down to breakfast and looked at the butter dish. Website in no way reflects the standard of the hotel which was appalling. Filthy bathroom, very poor customer service apart from one member of staff who is clearly used to dealing with complaints.
