My wife and I recently stayed in number 4. It was truly fantastic. Beautifully decorated with plenty seating, spotlessly clean and plenty crockery and cooking utensils. Could not have asked for anymore. It was very welcoming with a bottle of Prosecco. Little milks, butters and french rolls for baking in the fridge. Would certainly stay here again. Thanks to Bea

We stayed in the City Apartments for a long weekend during the Tour de France and we couldn't have picked better. Bea called a couple of days before we were due to arrive to make sure we got all the information about getting there. We arrived and found the apartment very easily and got into the apartment no problem. The... More

Good communication for check in instructions from a very pleasant young man called Nick. Great location. Good parking. Sadly some aspects like sofa and crockery worn and could do with replacing. Bathroom has no shower screen or curtain which means water goes everywhere. Nick told me there was a resident nesting pigeon so we could not use balcony - fortunately... More

Very simple booking and payment process. Excellent communication prior to arrival with directions, photos (which helped). Very helpful staff, friendly. Apartment was well located with easy walk into the city centre, railway station etc so no problem walking from railway station with luggage. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Apartment was well appointed, light, clean, and very pleasant. Loved the arrival gift.

This apartment was the perfect tonic after spending a week with two young children in hotel rooms. We stayed in no 3 which is a two bedroom apartment, with a pretty view of the rooftops from the windows. It was very well located in a quiet area just a short walk to the Shambles, and the facilities were perfect -... More

Modern decor, well equipted kitchen. Microwave didn't work otherwise no issues the facilities. 2nd bedroom is small but fine for children. Short walk to Micklegate, shops and other attractions. TripAdvisor says reviews must be a minimum of 200 characters so here's another sentence to pad out this review.

Stayed here as a base for the Tour de France and couldn't have asked for a better located place! Nick, our contact, was so helpful with everything, and due to the TdF event, he even sorted some additional parking for us for our last day - nice touch! There was a lovely welcome pack on our arrival (wine, toiletries etc...)... More

I would recommend these apartments to anybody who is looking for convenient place to stay. Very helpful communication from the moment we booked, nothing too much trouble and the e- mails sent with photos so no confusion with which street, and gates to look out for where a good idea, as so many little side roads, could easily have been... An attractive little apartment on the ground floor. Very well appointed with a nice layout. A bit dark so don't rent this if you like light and airy spaces. Nicely furnished and very comfortable. Great location you can walk everywhere very easily, so central but very quiet.m a bottle of wine on arrival which was very nice. Would stay here... More

We enjoyed our stay. The apartment in a small block in a York centre backstreet was very conveniently located and remarkably quiet. Parking was no problem. The apartment was nicely furnished with fully equipped kitchen. It's entirely independent, like renting a flat for a couple of days. Ideal for a couple or small family. We would stay again if in...
