Very welcoming, secure car park although couldnt reserve parking. We were visitng York for a suprise party. Excellent central location and bar prices reasonable compared to local bars in the vicinity. Would choose this hotel to return again.

Stayed for 2 nights, very friendly welcome, 24hr service, room was average but clean, perfect for what we needed it for. we would stay again. Short walk into York centre everything within walking distance. Along the road was an Italian, Chinese, fish & chips, Kentucky, kebabs, Late opening Sainsburys local, across the road.

Ibis York is conveniently located a short walk from the city wall and the central city. Parking is free which is a plus in a city. Room basic but very confortable. Good eating places handy. Buffet breakfast (usual Ibis) & meals on site too.

The IBIS is quite close to the train station (10 mins walk? ). Very close to York Racecourse. A bit of a trek to the center, tho nothing to complain about,as there are some nice detours and shops, chippies etc en route. Easy to book on internet, all the staff was very obliging, breakfast was very good value, rooms ok,bed very good, good position to find only fifteen minute walk to city centre, also with car parking with no time restraints.
