Having the most miserable, uncomfortable bed fold out from a couch so your two children ages 2 and 1 can sleep in the same room as you is apparently worth an additional $70 at this establishment. Good service, decent restaurant, but pathetically small rooms with very poor beds.

On our second night (Saturday) in this convenient and comfortable Novotel our sleep was disturbed by shouting and banging by other guests between midnight and 3AM. However reception was most helpful in arranging for the room to be serviced at a time of our choosing on Saturday morning.The hotel was busy but efficient.

These big hotels are all the same, good clean spacious and lacking in character. This one had good views of the canal. Beds were comfortable, facilities OK.
