Decided to have a few days away and decided on York and found this B&B fairly quickly, lovely and peaceful, lovely breakfast and left to your own devices, fully recommend this little gem, nice walk into York either along the riverbank or along main road, wouldn't hesitate to book this place again.

So me and my partner are total cheeseballs, we went to York for our one year anniversary two years ago, and we chose this B&B on a total whim. We've been back every year since, and we'll be back next year too. I can't praise the family who own this B&B enough, everything about it is perfect, well for us it... More

Lovely B&B,can take the scenic route city centre and breakfast was excellent and the Ladies running the Old Vic were helpful and polite.Would easily recommend this B&B as it was good value for money. It is so closed to the city centre a bus ride will take a few minutes.

We have just spent 5 nights here. Very friendly all clean accommodation . A freshly cooked breakfast to our order, lovely. We found a very pleasant walk to the city along the river. York was lovely too, the people all smiled and chatted to us..

Very friendly comfortable guest house. Breakfast room a little cramped but breakfast was hot and tasty. Room lovely, with tea and coffee tray. A little way out of the centre, but we got the number 7 bus which cost £1 each, and run at regular intervals. Walking was about 20mins, we walked by the river into York which was lovely.
