Booked through KGB Deals as a double room with breakfast but were accomodated in an apartment in Knowle House. The staff are very good and the breakfast was excellent and served efficently even through there was a large group of French students staying. The location is really good being just outside the walls. I would recommend it to friends.

An excellent hotel. Very friendly reception on arrival. Staff very helpful and friendly. Food also excellent though, if you are staying for more than a few days, a slightly wider range of choice would be helpful. Great situation for pedestrian access to everything in York.

Service was first class and the accommodation was spot on, wonderful shower, quiet location within easy walking distance of all the attractions of York City. We didn't have to use public transport or the car for the whole 3 days stay, excellent parking and access to the hotel. We would go again if we wanted to see York once more.... More
