No welcoming atmosphere on arriving. Room although clean did not offer Hotel facilities, i.e. hairdryer and little touches like tissues, and shampoo and shower gels, which you find in most hotels and B.B's. When we planned a long weekend on the North Yorkshire moors, we considered staying in Whitby. Knowing how difficult it can be to park, we opted instead for the Salmon’s Leap at Sleights, 3 miles away on the A169.
