We went here a few times for drinks. We picked a spot on the stools at the front window an ideal spot for watching people go by. The bar staff were very friendly and came round the other side of the bar to chat. The bar is dog friendly too. This was the best pub we visited in Whitby.

We came back for our second visit, this time staying for 2 nights. There is a lovely atmosphere in the Buck Inn both upstairs and downstairs. There is a sign at the top of the stairway that says that you enter as strangers and leave as friends. Julie and Steve do make you feel like this. The room itself was... More

We visited at Easter, we did not stop in the Accomodation but the pub is great, right on the sea front, Sky tv, friendly staff, good music and dog friendly. It was quite busy and noisy on the Saturday afternoon. Well worth a visit.

If the brewery company Carling provided b&b's it would be The Buck Inn as it is probably the best pub b&b ever. Lovely clean and comfortable room with a fantastic harbour view, the landlord and landlady were really friendly and the bar staff were helpful and friendly too. We will definitely stay here again.

Perfect location within Whitby. Owners and bar staff are extremely helpful. The free secure parking makes the stay so much easier and enjoyable. Would not consider booking anywhere else before trying this place first.

this was basic but friendly and adequate accomodation The position was excellent and we had a lovely time. The activity along and around the port is very interesting and the whole 'scene' was fun. Thank you for a good stay

One night stay for our wedding anniversary Fantastic location overlooking the harbour couldn't have been better. The owners went out of their way to help when we arrived. The room was small but perfectly suitable. We would defiantly go back.
