My wife and I have recently stayed at this lovely Hotel for three nights. We had room no.1 and it was a beautiful room with plenty of space and an excellent view over Whitby Harbour and Town.We also had a quick nosey at the other rooms when the doors were left open (hope you don't mind Simon if your reading... more

Excellent guest house in every way. Our room was spotless and tastefully furnished to a very high standard with high quality fixtures and fittings. Simon and Lane, the owners, are very helpful, friendly and look after their guests impeccably. They both cook and serve an excellent breakfast. Evening meal at The Magpie in Whitby, 5/10 mins away, wonderful fresh fish,... more

We have stayed at WhiteHaven several times over the last few years and would not look for any where else in Whitby. There is always a warm welcome from Simon and Lane. The bedrooms are spotless and very comfortable, warm in winter too. The breakfast menu has loads of choice and is always extremely well cooked and presented. The parking... more

My husband and myself have just returned from 2 nights at the Whitehaven guest house, and we were fortunate that the premises had two free nights available. The room was not overly big, and was near a busy road, but the bed linen and room was absolutely spotless, nicely painted with a lovely spotless en-suite. The owners were very friendly... more

We enjoyed our stay at the Whitehaven and were made to feel very welcome by the hosts, Simon and Lane. Room was pleasant, comfortable bed and everywhere was spotless. Breakfast was superb! A little walk up the hill back from town, but it helped walk off the breakfast!! We would stay here again. more

Arrived earlier than should have but room was ready. It was very big with bay window and beautifully decorated. The owners were extremely friendly and have worked really hard to bring it up to standard over the last fews years after taking over when it was very run down. They have certainly succeeded! Parking on the road was free and... more

My girlfriend and I stayed at this delightful b&b at the beginning of September 2009. Very friendly owners, extremely clean and well equipped rooms with one of the tastiest breakfasts we've had at any b&b. We'd definitely return and recommend this establishment. more
