Title says it all. Whitehaven Guest House and hosts Simon and Lane are just excellent in every department. The welcome, efficiency and friendliness of our hosts and staff, the food, the service, the room, the cleanliness are all faultless. We couldn't recommend them more highly. If you need a B&B in Whitby/area look no further.

We stayed at Whithaven for a long weekend in a very cold January. We and our friends were apparently the only guests that weekend but that did not stop Simon and Lane from pulling out all the stops to make our stay a great one. The guest house was warm and spotlessly clean, our rooms were very comfortable, nicely furnished... More

We recently stayed here for 1 night and were given a very friendly welcome. The property is very clean and attractive, although our room was very pink and in need of updating. The bathroom was very tiny but for one night it was ok and the excellent breakfast made up for this.

We spent 3 nights here a few weeks ago and were very happy with it. A gorgeous old Edwardian era home that has been beautifully preserved and renovated, we were thrilled with our stay. The whole place is spotlessly clean, very nicely appointed and obviously well cared for. The morning breakfasts were delicious, hearty and tailored to request without any... More
