This has been our 4th year in a row staying at The number seven. And yet again it's been a brilliant relaxing enjoyable stay. Food is always excellent, and the owners George & Lynn are second to none. Would always recommend and will most definitely be back next year.. Great place and kids always welcomed. My son isn't fond of... More

Having been all over the world on holiday over many years isn't it strange that one of our favourite destinations is Whitby and our favourite place to stay is No.7. Our favourite room is definitely rm2 but all the rooms have been comfortable and most have lovely views of the sea and the Abbey ruins. You are in the perfect... More

Exactly what we had in mind - beautiful views across the sea, a genuine and friendly hostess, 5 minute walk into the heart of town and all at a very fair price. Would definitely return/recommend to friends. Also - Magpie Cafe is only a minute down the road and one of, if not the best seafood restaurant in town!

This place is lovely, Lynne is so chatty and kind, with great ideas of where to go, as well as giving cute stories about the history of the house and it's Dracula connections. The room itself was nicely decorated and the bed was the comfiest I've ever slept in! Would definitely recommend x
