Just had five days in Whitby staying at the Seaview guesthouse. Not been to this b&b before and I just want to say how fabulous it has been. The rooms and views were second to none. From our bedroom window we had the very best view of the harbour and the abbey - wonderful. The breakfasts were magnificant - Brian... more

This B & B is an absolute gem, great service, brilliant location and definitely lives up to its excellent reviews. We were visiting Whitby for a 65th birthday weekend celebration, and to attend the "60's Festival" at the Pavillion. On arrival Brian showed us to our 3 double rooms all situated together on the top floor, room no's 6, 7... more

We booked to go to Seaview having read the rave reviews on here. We stayed for two nights and our hosts were welcoming, the room comfortable and (for a B & B) spacious. The breakfasts were cracking with a good choice of cold and hot choices. There is plenty of street parking nearby and plenty of room to 'double park'... more

This was our second visit to the Seaview and we were not disappointed. Bryan and Abby were the perfect hosts. Our room at the top of the house was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. There was fresh bottled water every day, homemade parkin and every hot beverage you could thinks of. Fluffy white towels and crisp bed linen, absolute heaven.... more

Would definately visit Seaview again, we stayed for 3 nights. Very clean, Brian and Abbie very friendly and welcoming and the breakfasts were excellent, very filling and cooked to perfection. We didn't have a seaview room but our room was still lovely with lots of little extras in. The bottled water supplied each day was a nice touch. They have... more

Excellent B&B in a wonderful location overlooking the sea. Rooms spotless and delightfully furnished. Breakfasts excellent. Would recommend it to anyone visiting Whitby as it is very convenient for walking to the town centre. Parking nearby was no problem at this time of the year. John and Raye Whiteside more

Our room was at the top of the house, and the view was breathtaking - out over the harbour. The room itself is delightful, a good use of space and nice touches - the binoculars are a great idea! Breakfast was superb, and the service overall was excellent - relaxed and professional; our hosts didn't have a problem with housing... more

Booked Seaview after reading reviews on Tripadvisor. The excellent comments were well justified - this place is a real gem. We stayed one night on our journey to visit family in Scotland and returned again on the way back. We stayed in Room 7 which has an excellent view over the sea, the harbour, Whitby and the Abbey. There is... more
