Just returned from a 3 day break at Arundel House in Whitby. From the moment we arrived we felt 'at home', nothing was too much trouble and our stay was most enjoyable. The owners are first class, we'll certainly be back!!

We arrived earlier than our friends and than the official checking in time at Arundel House but on arrival we were greeted by the proprietors like we were family friends. We stayed in the Captain Cook room (No.1), which was clean and had everything we needed. We did feel the room could benefit from being modernised, however this did not affect... More

Our second stay was as good as the first ! Two very comfortable nights, superb breakfasts, excellent service and a very warm welcome. The hotel feels comfortable, cosy and welcoming, a real home from home. We would recommend Arundel House to anyone who wants a really comfortable and welcoming. place to stay whilst visiting Whitby. We will be back !

my husband and i had a lovely stay,Scott and Rachel are a lovely couple. The beds are so comfy we know that as we stayed in 3 different rooms, the breakfast is excellent and the staff are very friendly. If we return to Whitby we would stay at the Arundel without hesitation. Martin and Tracey Searle.

We arrived for a one night stay on 30th July. My Son and I had just completed another leg of our charity walk across the Cleveland Way. You enter the hotel and there's a fairly narrow hall with rooms off it and the staircase. It feels a bit closed in and there's no space for a desk to greet guests.... More

This delightful Hotel is a five minute walk from Whitby town at the end of the main road. The room was clean and comfortable with a nice firm bed. The on suite though a bit small was modern and clean. The breakfast was amazing with a good selection other than just a full English. We had scrambled eggs with smoked... More
