We stayed in this guest house over the regatta weekend the hotel was really poor standards of hygiene aswell as the decor. From walking in the entrance the smell of damp was extremely offensive wive wall paper falling of the wall. When shown to the room there was no lighting on the corridors and mice droppings in the corners. I... More

We arrived here un booked and asked for a double room, we were offered a room on the top floor for £75 for the night. The guy that answered the door was very polite and welcoming. He showed me the room and as we were finding it hard to fine a bed for the night I took the room regardless... More

Stayed here on a girlie weekend away in July 2013, the place is like fawlty towers. The only two good things about the place where the wonderful views and the location. It's filthy. Stay there at you peril.

We stayed at Khyber Lodge recently, and booked the place as a couple. Upon booking we were told it slept six, and so we allowed our friends who were also looking for accommodation in Whitby to have the spare bedroom. The place itself wasn't too bad - it appeared clean and tidy. However, unfortunately on the last night, I suffered... More
