We stayed in No.19 on the lower level of the development. All in all, it was a great week away with our four year old son. The setting is peaceful, the grounds well kept and the swimming pool excellent. Specifically, 19 is behind the river facing row of houses, so does not have a view of either the river or... More

Stayed at no.27....lovely cottage, plenty of space, modern and well equipped. Great location and facilities. Cottage was spotlessly clean. Views and setting were picturesque. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Stayed here with a group of friends for a weekend break. Cottage was exceptionally clean and well equipped for our needs. Location was ideal, close enough to walk into whitby if we wanted. Facilities are great, on site reception and swimming pool. The setting is picturesque peaceful and very relaxing. We would definitely love to stay here again.

We have just returned from a 2 night stay here. I would just like to say this is a fabulous place! We booked a 3 bed Adventure cottage (no 46) and got a great deal. The cottage was huge, immaculate and very modern. It easily accomodated our party of 4 adults and two children. The park was spotlessly clean and... More

Most of my family are from Scotland and we live in London so we had to find a place for four families, preferably NOT caravans, good self catering, a pool and a children's play area as a central meeting point for our holiday. Captain Cook's Haven was ideal. We booked four cottages in April, all of which were very modern,... More

Stayed in No 27 Cooke's Cottage (Crows Nest) April 13th onwards. Excellent accommodation, attic bedroom king size + en-suite with marvelous shower. Four toilets so no queuing. Kitchen small but very useable. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Pool very well kept, my 2 yr old loved it. Will be booking again later in the year :)
