The Queensland is in a great location with easy access to all local amenities. Even if you can’t get free parking on arrival, pay for a few hours in the car park opposite and you will easily be able to move your car later. We enjoyed a warm welcome and everywhere was spotlessly clean. We had been warned that we... more

We often visit Whitby, having stayed in cottages, hotels and the Youth Hostel. However, after our two-night visit to the Queensland, we will never stay anywhere else again! We got an extremely reasonable price on a "superior four poster" room. The room was VERY spacious, spotlessly clean and well-furnished, with a wonderful massage shower en suite, pretty four-poster, TV, DVD... more

The Queensland is a very well maintained and comfortable hotel. The decor and fittings are excellent and to a very high standard, inluding a superb power shower. First class food with multiple choice. The owners of this hotel have obviously put a lot of hard work and effort in to the business and deserve credit for it. more

Stopped over the weekend on Business. Needed somewhere comfortable, not cramped , with a descent shower after a hard days photographing and somewhere to chill out in the room. Power shower was awesome and the room was very spacious with comfortable seats (like you get in a conservatory) to chill out in front of the TV at the end of... more

It was our first time in Whitby and our first time for a UK break. It was fantastic. The location of theguesthouse was perfect, although parking was a bit of a nightmare when we first arrived but as we were told once it hit 5pm the streets became empty and we were able to park directly outside the guesthouse. We... more

The Queensland B&B in Whitby, is highly recommended. Very clean and spacious rooms. A fantastic power shower. My husband says the english breakfast was a great start to the day. However they didnt offer much in vegetarian option for myself. I did have beans and toast on 2 mornings, but had to settle for toast on the third. Run out... more
