We stayed in Room 3 - very clean, well equipped, good reception on the TV, excellent sea view. Helpful and friendly staff. We especially appreciated the care taken over our dietary constraints. We were offered alternatives to the printed menu so as to cater for our needs.

We recently stayed at this hotel and was overall pleased with the choice we made. The room was pretty and comfortable with sea views. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good with prompt service. The only negative was the evening meal. The waiter couldnt be more helpful but the meal itself was rather disappointing. It lacked any... More

We booked this hotel for being a place that welcomes pets and a very reasonable rate. It has an amazing location on the cliff top, overlooking the sea with Whitby In one direction & Sandsend in the other - a lovely walk in either direction. Room was small but clean with a modern bathroom and wifi etc. Breakfast was stunningly... More

We have just returned from a fantastic stay at the Seacliffe. We can't fault the hotel at all however some desk jockey at Scarborough council has made parking anywhere near the hotel very difficult. I feel very sorry for all the hotels in the area as the parking situation will no doubt loose business for them.

We booked this hotel at short notice and didn't do much research. All I can say is we got very lucky. It's a gem. It's clean, food was very good, staff friendly and room very clean. The top floor room is for four legged visitors and whilst small offered great views and all you need. The breakfast was as described... More

A lovely hotel to stay at except for they didn't have a chef doing food when we arrived on the 31st December and we had to book another hotel to eat at that night. Also new years day when we did eat in the bar there was no dessert menu for the bar and the lovely helpful waitress had to... More

Very nice stay in a Wintery Whitby. The Seacliffe is a little way out of the town centre - maybe a twenty minute walk to the centre. Parking on site is the benefit of a slightly more remote location. The hotel has been refurbished in the last few years yet retains a very traditional 'b&b'feel. Rooms are clean with a... More

Stayed 2 nights at the Seacliffe. The view was lovely and we were glad we paid for an upgrade to a sea view room with bay window. The room was a great size, very comfortable and clean. It was well equipped with a large ensuite including a spacious shower. Being December, the weather was cold but the hotel was lovely... More
