Returned here again - love this friendly little site. It was much busier than when we've stayed before but despite the number of tents, it was quiet and peaceful at night. The only downside is the lack of toilet facilities: 2 cubicles for women with washbasins inside. This meant long waits on a morning whilst inconsiderate females spent seemingly endless... More

Have stayed here with friends a few times. Exactly what we wanted with views down to the sea, a good cafe with Real ice cream. Helpful owner. Good pub close to entrance. Close to Whitby for all the fun of the seaside.

Just returned from a weekend away with myself and 8 other girl friends. What a lovely site, greeted by two lads who couldn't of been more helpful, reception and shop on site had everything you could need in an emergency, including multiple packs of fire lighters for when your BBQ won't light! The dad felt sorry for us in the... More

This is a nice little camp site in the hamlet(?) of Sneaton, near Whitby. There is nothing flash or fancy about this place so if you are a "glamper" or "particular" about having all the mod camping cons and immaculate brand new sand coloured tiled shower blocks and toilets, then this place isn't for you. However, it does what it... More

Thanks again for all your help this weekend we really couldn't do it without you all at Beacon Farm. Thanks to Mike and his team for making it all go so well. Great campsite with spectacular views of Whitby and lovely ice-cream. Cafe on site is much more than an ice cream parlour and your shop is a real help... More

It can be very challenging to find a campsite that will have a group of students, but the owners of Beacon Farm understood this and allowed us to stay at their lovely campsite so long as we weren't to loud which was understandable. When we arrived they were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Their breakfasts in the... More

Just spent 3 days here and it was lovely. Had a great time with my partner exploring the surrounding area. For £13 per night you can't go wrong. The toilets and showers I found absolutely fine and for that sort of money they were great. Found the staff to be friendly and helpful. So will certainly be back! We also... More

WITH GROUP BELOW In response to your review. I am aware that this is the extremely large group that was booked on last weekend that we had many problems with unfortunately. Firstly there was more than one complaint made about your group by the other campers regarding excessive noise and swearing near young children. Secondly two of the young boys... More

Angry farmer came complaining of noise, in a very abrupt manner, speaking to us like naughty children in school! only once we where asked to turn down the music but out of respect we turned it off completely. We were pitched as far away from any one as possible, and members of our group took turns to go walk make... More

Stayed here recently and the owner was down right rude. A shame really as this could be a lovely place if they made the effort. Perhaps they should learn some people skills and buy some stronger disinfectant for the loos which smelt of urine. Definitely won't be visiting again and will take my business elsewhere!
