Came here every day on our trip to Whitby just to sit in the window for the view . Nice food , drink and staff very friendly thank you could sit and look at the view all day if I could !!!!!! We ate here on afternoon and food was ok

My wife and I stayed at the Dolphin after arranging to meet up with old friends and have night out. The accommodation was excellent, breakfast was excellent. The hotel staff were welcoming and friendly. Liz, the proprieter was very friendly and made us feel at home. We will return

Had a nice pork pie with mushy peas and a Thatcher gold cider all for around 5. 50. My husband had a chicken baguette and chunky chips. Lovely fire and great view of the Quayside. Close to the captain cook museum. Recommended for a good value lunch in Whitby .
