Absolutely fantastic guest house. Ian and sarah are so thoughtful and kind. Ask for room 2 its truly wonderful. Breakfasts was so Mmmm and tasty. Everything was so spotlessly clean. Couldn't of wished for a better place to stay enjoyed every minute. You will not be dissapointed that's a promise. Definately going back next year (room 2).

Booked at fairly short notice for a 2-day escape; we wanted to save on Kennel fees so took the dog, and chose Magnolia based entirely on the reviews here. We were not disappointed. The quality of the welcome is the most important aspect of any service, be it hotel, B&B, pub, restaurant, café, whatever. We were all made very welcome;... More

We originally booked for 2 nights stay with the dog enjoyed it so much stayed for a third. Lovely down to earth couple made us very welcome and even bought us tinned tomatoes for breakfast (philistines apparently lol). Room very comfortable and well equipped. Looking forward to a return visit cause apparently the dog is more than welcome back and... More

Upon arriving we were met with a very friendly welcome from Ian. Our room was spacious with a generous supply of tea, coffee and biscuits. Breakfast (full English for the other half and myself) was excellent, with a good variety of choice, all made to order, fresh juice, fresh coffee, cereals etc. we're readily available. Ian and Sarah welcomed us... More

What a wonderful stay when we visited this lovely guest house for a much deserved R and R. Day one, we were met by Ian who showed myself, husband and little dog to our room for the next 3 nights, it was clean, tidy and was laid out with a very welcome supply of tea, coffee and sugar....milk and lots... I made a last minute booking for two nights at Magnolia Bed and Breakfast. Very welcoming and friendly, both on the phone and upon arrival. Rooms basic but very comfortable, clean and good value. They don't just accept dogs to stay, they positively welcome them (even sneaking my pooch a breakfast sausage!!). Lovely breakfast with a good choice. Will definitely... More

Called on spec having belatedly decided that the period between Hallowe'en and Guy Fawkes' night was a touch too cold for a draughty camper van; the offer of a small room for £35 a night was too good to refuse! Still big enough for a comfy double bed and (tiny) en suite and the breakfast was far better than it... More
