Stayed one night in a room with a double and a single bed perfect for me and my sister. The room was clean and tidy with a full hospitality tray, even had proper wine classes. We needed to iron a dress and was given an iron and ironing board. Breakfast was delicious and fresh. There is ample free parking and... More

The Grove inhabits that region between B&B and Hotel, i.e. its almost a hotel but not quite, but a bit too big to just be a B&B. We booked for a quick weekend overnight travelling around Yorkshire, and The Grove was a great choice - good value for money. Room was spotlessly clean, although quite a small double ensuite, with... Our second visit and certainly not our last. John ,Kathleen and Rachel go out of their way to make sure your visit is a joy. Beautiful Pennet park with its museum is straight across the road and is well worth a visit. Missing the sumptious breakfasts already. Best wishes for a good season.

We stayed 3 nights at The Grove in Whitby. The room was lovely and clean with everything you could need. When we had a problem with the shower on our first day, the owners let us use the shower in one of the other empty rooms and got it sorted the same day. The breakfast was really good with a... More

Just got back after a couple of nights at the Grove! Only a 5 minute walk into the centre so very handy. Free parking available which was super. We visited as a family, it was very child friendly, lovely owners, nothing to much trouble and breakfast in the morning was great.

Visited Whitby for 1 night in May, location wise couldn't be better just a short 5min stroll to Whitby harbour, our room(we were in room 8)was comfortable and a good size, there was lots of little homely touches added by the owners who were all very friendly. For breakfast I had a full English, you could also help yourself to... More
