This is our 5th stay with brian and maria, as always clean, great breakfast and lovely friendly people.brian moves his car or saves a place for you as parking is horrendous, even at 9 in the morning.we have booked again for two weekends next year, if you are going for the goth weekend its a walk across the road to... A clean accommodation with a very nice breakfast. Brian was very friendly, but I cannot say the same of his wife. We were told by Tourist Information that the rooms were en-suite, but the bedroom we were given had a shower room across the landing, with very cramped facilities.. Friendly, should be the name of this bed and breakfast. The owner even stood outside and held open a parking space while I brought my car. Clean room, comfortable bed and a good choice for breakfast. One of the better places we have stayed in.

We stayed for a three night break September2015. We arrived at the property and was greeted by Brian the owner who was a friendly guy and very welcoming . We arrived in Whitby for the launch of a friend's newly built yacht, which didn't go quite to plan as a small leak was detected, so back in the boatyard overnight for a relaunch next day. We stayed at the Hailwood for the 4th time.Brian and Maria were welcoming and friendly. Room 4 was lovely and clean. Breakfast was fantastic. And the b n b is in a great location to town. We will be back again soon

Just returned from our third stay at hailwood house, yet again brian and maria provided a super stay and always make you feel welcome.lovely guest house and fantastic proprietours.we would recomend this place to anyone.see you again in october.

we fell over this little b and b and have not looked back it is the most lovely clean comfortable place we have been in brian moved is car for us so we could park on the street nothing is to much trouble and thank you for a best breakfast we have had will be back soon

First time we have stayed there, from the minute we arrived we were greated by brian who moved his car so wd could park in his place as whitby was heaving,.nothing was to much trouble even putting fresh milk in our room.our room was huge and immaculately clean.
