The property was beautifully done out with a really comfortable bed. We were lucky enough to have the room over looking the Abbey, which was perfect. The breakfast was really well prepared and we were given a warm welcome by the hosts. Will be back.

Just returned from a three day break at the seacrest. Fantastic service and food, our room was very professionally appointed to a high standard. Lovely hosts, even got to meet Igor the hound who has recently been commented on in a previously review. Would like to point out that at no time could I smell dogs. Can't wait to return

Cosy friendly guest house, felt very welcome, great location, just a short walk to the beach and harbour. Lovely clean spacious room, yummy breakfast, good value for money, will definitely stay again!

I read the reviews that criticise this landlord for double bookings and consider the writers to be very unfair to him. I made my booking through LateRooms.Com. and the following morning received a call from the landlord to inform me they were already fully booked for my chosen date. The problem is with LateRooms.Com. I opted for a different day... More

Stayed for 1 night, on arrival we were greeted with a lovely warm welcome, we were early and were offered somewhere to store our bags until ready to book in. The rooms were beautifully decorated, clean and very comfortable, breakfast next morning we pre-orderd on arrival, full English was cooked to perfection and there was cereal, fresh juice and fresh... Booked this place aa a last minute over night stay. The first thing I noticed was the smell of dogs on arriving. Found the decor to be very tired and could do with updating and in our room noticed areas where paint was needed and bits of DIY needed to be done. However found the couple who owned this place... very sorry your delicate , large nostrils picked up on the smell of our pet hound igor who is always confined to our quarters. we do run a pet friendly guesthouse with only one room designated to pets. as you mentioned your stay was that short its a wonder how you managed to point out all the negative issues that... Stayed here in room 8 for one night. The owners were lovely and very helpful. Our room was lovely, nicely decorated and with beautiful views of the sea and Abbey. It was one of the best nights sleep we've had in a long time, with comfortable bed and pillows. Breakfast was great with a lovely selection of fruit, cereals, yogurt... More

We arrived, were provided with local parking and were shown to our room which was recently appointed we were told and was to the highest standard. Full english breakfast the following morning was exemplary. Andy and Alison's hospitality was of a very high standard. Would definitely stay at the Seacrest again which was located in an ideal position for sampling... More

We only stayed one night but we had a very enjoyable stay. The room was spotless and nice and warm with a fantastic view of the Abbey and the North Yorkshire moors. The owners were very friendly and the breakfast was top quality with fresh fruit, cereals and a choice of hot food. In fact we lingered so long over... More
