My partner and i went for a short break in Feb of this year (09) and i am currently looking at booking again. The rooms are immaculate and the breakfast was fantastic. Great location and very friendly / helpful owners. I would happily recommend The Leeway to all our friends. more

On two occasions my partner and I have enjoyed the hospitality of the Walkers at their B&B in beautiful Whitby in Yorkshire, the most perfect part of England. The B&B is in an old narrow house on a street with two names, close to the ocean on two sides, and within easy walking distance of pub food and (an unexpected... more

The Leeway met our expectations and didn't disappoint. From the moment we arrived we were made welcome by Garry and Karen. The food was perfect and plentiful with plenty of choice. We stayed in the superior room which was very comfortable, spotless and modern and included ensuite, tv, comfy chairs, bath robes, shower gel, shampoo etc and a tassimo coffee... more

My husband and I had never been to Whitby before so we thought it would be nice to get away for a long weekend for my husbands birthday. I found the Leeway on the Internet and read some of the reviews. We were not disappointed. From the moment we arrived Gary made us feel at home. The room we had... more

The Leeway has everything you could ask for, great rooms, fantastic Tassimo drinks machine, dressing gowns, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand/body cream, tissues, bottled water, magazines, wine glasses and corkscrew, brilliant. Breakfast was gorgeous everything you could imagine including smoked salmon. Excellent location, nice and quiet but only a short distance to town centre. We had a really relaxing time.... more

Very lovely room in a great B&B - clean, tidy with good layout and to a very high spec. Be returning again to Whitby not only because we love the town but because this B&B will draw us back. Food great quality and cooked wonderfully. Hosts spot on. more

We were greeted with a welcoming cup of tea and delicious chocolate cake. Our three day stay could not have been better, the bedroom and facilities were first class, and our hosts were extremely helpful when recommending places to eat in the evening. I have already mentioned The Leeway to members of my family, because we will certainly be back... more

We went for the half term break for one night in October. The location is great as its only a 5 minute walk into the town centre. I found the road side parking difficult but eventually found a space. We did go during goth week though so it was expected. I thought the room was well decorated and spacious and... more

A very welcoming atmosphere and polite service. Everything from the breakfast in the morning down to the napkin folded toilet roll! Definitely a must if you're staying in Whitby for a few days more
