This was a very enjoyable one night stay whilst we attended a wedding in Settle. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, very comfortable bed, immaculately clean bathroom with good shower. Breakfast was a feast of homemade goodies ie: smoothies, jams, fresh fruits, and the obligatory full English breakfast. The hosts were very welcoming and even offered to drive us back to the wedding venue... Pleasantly appointed B&B with excellent breakfast. We had a room on the top floor with new en suite bathroom. Good standard of accommodation. Bike storage was outside. Close to town centre with a good choice of places to eat. We went to Ravenous following good reviews on TripAdvisor.

My room at the front of the house overlooking the road, and it was incredibly noisy with lorries continually thundering past, together with other traffic. Total nightmare. Might as well have had the window open. Unable to relax and couldn't even watch telly without it being turned up very high. Did mention it to the owner but just told me the... More

Thank you very much for your review it is much appreciated that you will spend time writing rubbish. Unfortunately we are unable to stop the traffic and although no-one has complained within the last nine years I am sure that they can be noisy. As your review said it would be noisy if you left the window open - so... More

Oast Guest house is a very pleasant and efficiently run b and b with some extra touches. tea and cake on arrival, fruit in the bedrooms and an excellent breakfast - french toast and berries -mm. We were walking the Dales High Way and the oast Guest House is right on the route

A perfectly pleasant but very ordinary B&B - but nothing wrong in that. Shower cubicle was tiny - barely room to move - but made up for by some nice touches like homemade cake on arrival and an interesting breakfast menu. The black pudding and kipper potato cake is recommended!

Thank you for your review it is appreciated. Unfortunately there is not a great deal we can do about the shower unit but it is by no means the smallest size on the market. In regard to your comment about being pleasant but ordinary I agree - we are an ordinary Bed and Breakfast establishment and we do not profess... More

This welcoming B&B was a lovely place to start our walking holiday. It's well located withing a 10 minute walk of the train station and we only had a few minutes walk along the road, to join the Ribble Way. We enjoyed the luxury of single occupancy, with two lovely rooms being available, with en suite facilities. The breakfast room... More

Helen does an amazing breakfast with freshly made smoothie and homemade jams. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the bowl of fruit was a nice touch. Tea/coffee facilities were in the lounge rather than in the room, but this wasn't a problem for us. Our bikes were stored securely, but outside under covers. The water pressure in the top... More

A small group of us had an overnight stay on our '2 Roses Way' cycle trip. A clean, comfortable Bn'b with all we could expect to make for a good start the following morning for our 170 mile cycle ride. Good shower and comfy beds. Thank you for your review. We are very pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us, even if we struggled 'to get our ear in'.
