Rooms were comfortable and clean, with tea, coffee and biscuits in the rooms. Breakfast was excellent full cooked breakfast with a huge choice of cereals and fruit. The owners Eduardo and Amanda were very helpful and enthusiastic about outdoor activities in the Dales

Settle lodge was easy to find and the owners were welcoming. On arrival Amanda offered and brought us two hot drinks and cake to our room. A great start I think. The room was immaculate, toasty and well-presented with quality bedding and solid well-built furniture. Everything felt new and modern. The selection of make-your-own coffee/tea etc was brilliant with decaffeinated... More

A really beautiful house, a warm welcome and the nicest room I've ever stayed in. The perfect location for a visit to Settle and a great base for me and my friends for the gruelling Yorkshire 3 Peak walk. Amanda and Eduardo are the perfect hosts, leaving us breakfast out for our very early start and then providing a top... More

A lovely B & B, located within five minutes walk of both Settle town centre and the railway station (for the world famous Settle-Carlisle railway line). Owners Amanda and Eduardo ensure that you have a wonderful stay - the rooms are clean and spacious, the beds are big and comfortable, and the tasty full English breakfast is cooked to perfection... We only had one night here but the area and B & B deserve more time and we plan to return. We stayed on the top floor with a view over the rooftops to the moors. Lovely furnishings and a king bed that was a bit hard for me but that's a personal preference. The bathroom was new with good... More

Perfect B&B, from the warm welcome, the wonderful room (we stayed in room 7) to the delicious breakfast, we could not have asked for any more on our first trip to this beautiful part of Yorkshire. Excellent location, 5 mins walk to the centre of Settle and the railway station for the Settle to Carlisle train journey - not to... More

Wow, what a lovely place! We will definately be going back. We stayed for 2 nights in room 6 for our Yorkshire 3 peak challenge. Eduardo & Amanda couldn't have been any more helpful. Made up bacon sandwiches for us for the Saturday morning as we were leaving at 0545. They also left out croissants, Yoghurts, milk & cereal. The... More

Amanda and Eduardo work really hard to make sure you have a great stay. Rooms are spotless and really nicely decorated, breakfast is amazing (I really like the fresh strawberries, melon, grapes and blueberries). I can't fault anything, and we had good weather to boot!

Stayed for 2 nights over the Bank Holiday weekend. It was my birthday on the Saturday and my friend had phoned ahead and asked to have a cake and some Prosecco put in my room as a surprise. The cake was there when we arrived, with plates and a knife and the Prosecco on ice ready to drink! great service!... More
