The service and the food were great. We had Bern biking on the remote Yorkshire moors for 10 hours when we finally arrived here and were greeted with a friendly welcome and immediately shown where to put our bikes and to our room. Food was no problem with us being late and we both had a great meal. Our beds... More

We had a very warm welcome on arrival at the Feversham Arms Inn to stay for the night. The room and bathroom were very pleasant and very clean. Our evening meal in the bar was good, breakfast was served in the restaurant and again was good. The whole experience was warm, they even drove us up to the top of... More

Too busy for the young lady in charge to cope with. Very unpleasant if you are unhappy with anything and they have their dogs wandering around the tables whilst you ate your meal's. A very long wait for the food and it was cold when it did arrive. Would not recommend!

We usual go to The Lion, a few miles away, but decided to book Sunday lunch here. After looking at the website, menus and prices, we were expecting restaurant standard food and service. Arrived just after 12pm and told that we had booked a table. Rather than being shown to our table with a menu, we were directed to the... More

After being thoroughly drenched on our daffodil walk we sought refuge in the Feversham Arms. On walking in we spied a lovely open fire and selected the table next to it so we could dry out quickly.. I ordered coffees and thought they were rather expensive at £4.40 for nothing special. There were people occupying two other tables who had... More

Fantastic food, quality and quantity. It's the perfect country pub with an open fire and a lovely atmosphere. The owners have poodles which are very respectful and a joy to have around. There's nothing better than going for a nice meal in a country pub with my dog at my side as the landlady allows dogs in the bar area.... More

Called in for late sunday lunch yesterday, it was 10 minutes before they stopped serving food. It was very busy with no tables available, however Rachel the landlady said she could take our order if we wanted to wait but it may be a while. She was very friendly & the lovely little pub had a warm, welcoming feel so... More

It was poor service, long wait for food, but never warned us. Everyone around us were not happy. Food was very average, and some food was cold. Stay clear of this place. The staff need more training in customer services! We were over charged and when we brought it up, they said they never had a record and they could... More

My husband and I visited the Feversham Arms on 26 September. I must take issue with some of the points made by "A tltal sham" (23 June). The reviewer made adverse comments about the poodles and the food. We were delighted to meet the three poodles who weere in the bar area. Although there was open access to the restaurant... More

stopped here in September. we were a small group of walkers but were made to feel 2nd rate visitors compared to the hunts people. Main restaurant room is not great to sit in. Bar better, but landlady more concerned about saving tables for her locals! We insisted on sitting in the bar by the fire as we were in danger... More
