What a find. Right in the centre of Norwich, notoriously poor on parking facilities, this hotel not only offered free parking but a pleasing stay for one night. Much character in the building, room pleasant and clean, and the staff excellent. What more could one ask for on a one night stay for a friend's celebratory party?

Lovely hotel in very convenient position for the shops and sight seeing, with own car park. Very friendly and helpful reception. Excellent freshly cooked breakfast. Just one suggestion - bigger beds! Would definitely recommend.

This was our first stay at the hotel, it was recommended to us by some friends. The hotel lobby was tastefully decorated and staff very welcoming. Our bedroom followed a similar theme to the reception lobby, spacious, well decorated and quaint. Bedding was of a good quality and the bed comfortable. The food in the restaurant was delicious and cooked... More

Myself and my wife were bought vouchers for a champagne afternoon tea for Christmas so we decided to make use of this to celebrate her birthday yesterday 25th Feb. On arrival we were warmly greeted by the receptionist who asked what brought us to St Giles House Hotel? We explained it was a birthday celebration. She wished my wife a... More

Just had a large family lunch for a birthday gathering with lots of specific dietary requirements of various members within the group. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming before, during and after the event. The chefs had no problems and made no fuss about our specific dietary requirements and the meal was fantastic. unfortunately the group were running... More

I have not stayed at the hotel so can not comment on that, but today I had a treatment at The Spa on site. The reception area is very ambient and calming. I was welcomed straight away and asked to fill in a form. My masseuse was so welcoming and calming, and really put me at ease. I had a... More

Visited for pre-dinner drinks on a Friday evening. Beautiful building and bar was nicely decorated; leather chairs/sofas, buzzy atmosphere and excellent service. Enjoyed cocktails which were well priced. Had a peek at the restaurant menu which offered a good choice and seemed like good value (£6/7 starters, £15/20 mains). Would definitely pop in again and,p as other reviews have mentioned,... More

This hotel is located very centrally in Norwich with a guest car park. Guests are within walking distance to all town facilities including many restaurants. We were allocated rooms on the 4th floor. The rooms were fine. The plus points were size of the bathroom with a decent shower (no bath) and supplies for hot drinks, biscuits and a decent... More

Great location. Lovely staff, particularly reception who couldn't be more helpful. Standard rooms fine and similar to better "chain" rooms- beds comfy but bedding very warm even in February with window open. Spa zen like and reasonably priced- again lovely staff. Elemis products in bathroom give air of luxury.

A grade 2 listed building full of charm and muted elegance. This hotel is full of character befitting it's listing. All rooms are very individual, we had a suite full of antique furniture and a pedestal bath with it's own fireplace in the bathroom. First class staff, efficient and friendly, also one of the best hotel breakfasts I have had... More
