I went to open the windows but they didnt open, I wouldnt have... more

Imagine the scene, hottest day of the year, had to park 1/4 mile from the hotel, lug my 3 bags to the reception (one of which has £5k worth of electronics in it) Travelled the best part of 500 miles and DESPERATE for the toilet. Argued with the receptionist that she swipe my B... card AFTER I've dumped the bags... more

I actually like HI Express, many people don't, but these hotels are simple, clean and you know what you are going to get. The location is some what out of town a bit but it is easy to find. I think next door there was a bowling alley, but I am not 100% sure.. or it was the sports village.... more

Ten of us stayed for one night during a visit to watch Preston v Norwich at football. Check in was fine and the staff very helpful. However, we had been allocated a smoking room and requested to change this. There was only a twin available so the offer was declined...........until later that evening on our return to the hotel. The... more

Not sure where other reviewers are coming from - but I was a budget traveller with a 60 pound accommodation limit and found this accommodation to be simply superb. My dad and I were out from Australia travelling on a modest budget, and managed to get a twin room for 54.95 pounds (walk in rate, night of 23 Oct 08).... more

Long way from town (need to catch a bus or drive - parking in Norwich is expensive), room ok and clean, sheets with holes in, duvet ultra thin and nasty (too small for double bed), no top sheet (but did provide one on request), poor quality small LCD TV, long metal roof outside room (very noisy when it rains), noisy... more

This is a good place to stay if you are not concerned too much about being away from the city centre. Situated in the Norwich "Sports Village" , just off the bypass with a huge ASDA within walking distance. There's plenty of parking right outside. The hotel sees to have been recently refurbished and is bright, clean and fresh. The rooms... more

A great, cheap, clean and comfortable place to stay when visiting Norwich. The location is great - easy to get to (by car), close to the City Centre and right next to a large 24 hour Asda which is handy for snacks and amenities. There is McDonalds located inside the Asda which was a godsend as I arrived too late... more

I stayed at this hotel with a friend for a girly weekend away. booking the room was easy and we were able to get a smoking room which you never see these days! When we arrived and checked in we asked if we could stay another night and was no problam. The room was an adequate size and very clean.... more
