I was truly impressed with this hotel, and a very good price for such a delightful place. The rooms are named after herbs; I was in Thyme. On entering this room you go immediately up some stairs, at the top of which is an entire attic space to yourself - high vaulted ceiling with exposed beams, beautiful wooden bed, and... More

Just returned from overnight stay with my 2 daughters incorporating mothers day lunch. I have never stayed in such a friendly yet professional hotel. Literally no request appeared too much bother from accommodating our dogs to an extra last minute room for one of my daughters. Food outstanding and again all requests met with 'no problem' keeping 1 vegetarian and... More

Excellent service from the door being opened for us as we arrived, to being waved off in our car as we left! Spotlessly clean and comfortable room. Delicious scrambled eggs for breakfast and just the right amount of chat and privacy and above all welcoming to our dog. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

I am in two minds to write about this hotel.....it's wonderful but I am tempted to keep it a secret... Good Points: Warm welcome and very friendly service from all staff. Delicious food (we had dinner and breakfast). Food and drinks at very reasonable prices. Spotlessly clean throughout. Good sized bedrooms. Very comfortable rooms and seating. The hotel is well... My wife celebrated her birthday on Nov.3rd and we had a dinner party with friends here. We also decided to stay overnight which meant we were able to enjoy some of the excellent wine on offer. The food is very good and the atmosphere and ambience of the restaurant is very conducive to the fine dining. It was a most... More

I stayed for one night recently whilst visiting clients in the area. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was really very good with lots of locally sourced ingredients and the evening meal was also very good. I stayed in Rosemary which was clean and large with a very comfortable bed. the shower room was OK but was... More

We stayed for a couple of nights at Stower Grange & used it as a base to explore Norfolk. The hotel is set in its own grounds with plenty of parking. The rooms are very comfortable, all needs are catered for, we stayed in 'Sage' room which was up in the roof of the hotel , it was very cosy... More

Stayed here for a couple of nights whilst taking a short break in Norwich. Nice setting, in park-like grounds with lots of parking in a reasonably quiet in a village suburb of Norwich - taxi into centre of town was £9 each way. This place has lots of good points: friendly and helpful staff, spotlessly clean rooms, lovely old-fashioned mansion-style... More

The atmosphere, rooms and staff are all excellent. Our room was called Sorrel, with views onto the rear garden, and is larger than most hotel rooms we have stayed in elsewhere and was very comfortable. The staff were extremely good to us especially as my wife was ill during our stay, but I hasten to add it was nothing to... More
