Very nice looking hotel in very nice surroundings. However is a bit shabby, and in need of some tlc. Having said that, the evening meal was good and the staff were friendly. The room I stayed in was at the front of the hotel overlooking the large gravel covered car park. The windows in my room were single glazed sash... More

In this very comfortable establishment you will find classic rooms which remind you of a time gone by. Set in it's own grounds and surround by some of the most beautiful Norfolk countryside, with the Roman Town of Venta Icenorum a few minutes walk away and the fabulous city of Norwich a few minutes by Road. My relationship is one... More

A last minute booking at Caistor Hall Hotel. Due to the poor reviews online I decided just to book 1 night and then see what else was around the next day. Well ignore the negativity to be honest. I am all for everyone having an opinion but based on my stay I would say people are being picky for the... More

I stayed for two nights. I was in room 406 the first night - it was lovely - four poster bed with a very comfortable mattress. I slept really well. The bathroom was a little dated, but clean enough. However, the wi-fi signal wasn't strong enough for me to use it for work. I mentioned to the staff on the... More

Myself and my husband have stayed here twice, both times in the same room... I think the room number was 146, I highly recommend this room. Comes complete with hot tub, four poster bed, exposed wooden beams, so much character. Both visits we had room service, excellent food and house wine was not bad at all! Very clean, crisp white... Stayed here for one night on business. Loads of car parking space and a pleasant reception area. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Room was of a reasonable size with a soft but comfortable bed. Bathroom was tired and a bit small which means the door opened on to the bath. WiFi was free but woefully slow, 150k, and tv was... More

Stayed in this small hotel to catch up with family. Had a lovely room with beautiful canopied bed and original window shutters, however the bathroom was very dated with pink fittings. Has a pleasant meal in the attractive dining room although were only people eating there ( it was a Sunday evening)

An 18th birthday party with some seventy guests to be fed and watered! It was handled by the caring management and staff very well and very professionally and they made the evening a great success with the enjoyment factor to match. Thank you for a great night and for looking after everyone so well.

We decided to try give this place a visit and wasn't disappointed on the food at all. The starters of Brie and cranberry was tastes and very well presented and the main course of lamb was lovely. After the meal we sat in the library next to the fire and had coffee. The staff were very friendly and we had... More

Many thanks for taking the time to review your recent visit - we're pleased you enjoyed our Sunday offering & had a good meal with us! We agree an afternoon in front of the fire overlooking the gardens is a good way to spend a Sunday...hope to see you back in the not too distant future More
