Badly ventilated rooms, broken fixtures and a not so amusing bouquet - not a nice place to spend any time. Add to that the absence of hot water for 50% of my stay you've got a recipe for a very unhappy customer - how anyone can consider £100 a night for this acceptable I do not know.

Access to the hotel from the nearby NCP was a bit tricky but apart from that I cannot fault this hotel. Room very clean and the bed really comfortable. Allocated room was overlooking bus station which was noisy as slept with windows open due to being a hot night. Breakfast choice a bit limited but overall very good value and... More

No air conditioning in the rooms , the fan provided was little use. So not too good when staying in hot weather. Other than that good for a in and out stay. Breakfast was decent with a range of foods. Good bed but pull out bed mattresses a little hard.

The whole floor level we were on was too hot. Duvets were not provided for this reason, which I find uncomfortable in bed. The windows had to be open all night & the traffic noise was too loud to sleep. There was only one plug socket, on the other side of the room, so I couldn't charge my phone near... More

Stayed here for my birthday party to enjoy the nightlife, must say it was a while ago now but I had a good experience here ... Travelodge is quite noisy , but that why it the city centre ? You get what you pay for ? . If you're looking for more upmarket , don't go for a busy travelodge... More

Friendly staff. Hotel not so much. No air conditioning. Far too noisy. No fridge to keep food/drinks cool. Pillows too hard. Not expecting the ritz in a travelodge but at least something better/more up to date! Small desk fan provided to keep room 'cool' along with note stating to leave window open which is counter intuitive to rest as its... More

Take earplugs in case your room is at the front. Discovered shortly before leaving that there is a ventilation strip at the top of the window that can be closed, which reduces the traffic noise when the window is closed. If you are not a sound sleeper, you will have to have the window closed; the traffic noise is unbelievable

Me and 3 friends checked in around 5pm with a member of staff who had no problem with us all staying and even added a third member to the waiver form herself. We went to our hot room (no air con) to find 4 beds made up (as I had booked 4 people) to find that when we returned early... More

The hotel has no air con and if you are unfortunate enough to be on an upper floor you are not able to open the window, for safety reasons. The won't allow you to fall out of the window, but are happy for you to boil to death.
