We had a two night stay and this was our first time in a Premier Inn. The room was clean and comfortable if not spacious (our teenage daughter (14) shared the room with us). Everything was as you would expect from a budget hotel and more. Service was helpful and friendly. My wife went to get some food for our... more

This is a Premier Inn property and its features will probably be found at every other Premier Inn in the UK. Its a slightly 'up market' budget hotel. Check in was straightforward - you pay for your room on arrival. Our room was very clean and reasonably modern. It had a small flat screen TV and a floor based air-conditioning... more

Arrived at the hotel, lovely sunshine day, located opposite the station and by a river. You can sit outside and eat and drink as there is a restaurant here and the staff are the friendliest and most helpful I have ever come across. The rooms were clean and well equipped, bathroom facilities immaculate and front of house staff again friendly... more

Stayed here a few times on business, rooms always clean, shower excellent. Stayed in a number of rooms, always the same spec, comfy bed, TV etc. Nice 'pub-restaurant' downstairs, not spectacular but decent pub food. Hotel is on the river, very pretty. 5 min walk from an entertainment complex with a number of chain restaurants. 10-15 min walk to the... more

Good value, central location opposite rail station but not noisy. Ask for ground floor rooms 31 or 33 . They overlook the park and fountain. 33 has door to courtyard and garden. Meals very ordinary. Restaurant staff slow but helpful. Rooms immaculately clean. more

This is a great hotel for the £69 for 1 night that I paid...very clean, warm and spacious room. The staff were very helpful and friendly too. The only downturn was paying for WiFi... more

I must admit i was a bit unsure when I booked this place, as we hadn't been to a premier inn before, but we were on a budget so that was that. I needn't have worried, the reception area was really professional and the staff were very human! The room was very clean, and the bed was great, a king... more

We stayed at this Premier Inn for two nights in September 2008. I didn't know that Premier Inns are a budget hotel, so the size of the room and down-to-basics bathroom surprised me a bit. But the interiors were modern and clean and tastefully done. The reception staff was endlessly helpful (as Americans, we had a lot of questions). The... more

We stayed at the Duke Street hotel for a short beak. The hotel is conveniently located for the city centre - we parked the car in the St Andrews carpark (about 100 yards away) & mainly walked. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The rooms were larger than at some Premier Inns and as usual well kept & clean.... more

Stayed four days at this Premier Inn. Very welcoming and helpful staff. Large, clean room which I thought was excellent value for money. Good location - easy walking distance from the city centre and some very good restaurants in the neighbouring streets. I was a bit disappointed in the hotel restaurant - it was adequate but nothing special. The service... more
