Tina showed us our room and we were very pleased, as the rooms are lovely, bright, spacious and very cosy with a huge ensuite. Coffee, tea. cold milk and biscuits are all supplied in the room which was... More

We had a wonderful week here. Very kind and knowledgeable hosts. Tina recommended some lovely places to visit and supplied us with tasty welcoming breakfasts. My Mother has arthritis and walks with a stick and she was very happy with the facilities. They had a walk in shower and very comfortable beds. I would love to go back and stay... More

Stopped for just one night, very friendly, very clean, spacious and comfortable. A reasonable price for what is offered, and breakfast was well cooked and served in a lovely dinning room. Lovely coffee and plenty of it. Would book again.

The fresh milk in the cool box for tea making on arrival was a nice touch and much appreciated. The bed was very comfortable too, there was underfloor heating in the ensuite bothroom, and there were plenty of channels on the TV in the spacious room. The individual front door had a parking space right outside it too. For breakfast... More

The B and B is a superb place to stop a little different in the fact that there are only 2 rooms and they are annexed from the house, but the rooms are spacious indeed A heated floor in the shower room is lovely. A bit strange having to walk over to the house and ringing the doorbell for breakfast... More

I would like to express my thanks to Tina for a lovely twin room which was large, quiet and with an excellent bathroom. There were plenty of channels on the tv, tea and coffee making facilities and parking outside our own private door. Breakfast was a quiet affair in Tina's home. I had an excellent night's sleep on a very... More

This is a gem of a place to stay, within easy striking distance of the Strumpshaw Fen RSPB reserve. The rooms are immaculately clean and spacious, with lots of lovely decorative touches. The breakfasts are delicious. Tina shows genuine interest in her guests, and ensures their comfort and needs are met in every way. Many thanks. Four stars well deserved.

The two lovely rooms here are in an annexe to Tina and David's gracious home. Beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean, with lovely extras like underfloor heating in the bathroom. Tina had even provided us with a coolbox with a pint of fresh milk and luxury cookies on our courtesy tray. In the morning we were welcomed into Tina and David's... More

The parking, size of the room and breakfast were excellent but the heating was inadequate , and could not cope with the exceedingly cold weather. The shower cubicle was of good size but the water flow was exceedingly poor. The first day could be excused as there was a leak in the adjoining room but after being informed that the... More

Very sorry that you felt cold the night you stayed with us. It was in the middle of an extremely severe weather spell. We will make sure that we check the room more thoroughly in similar conditions More
