I have stayed at this hotel the year before, was booked into one of their apartments in Upper St.Giles Street and it was wonderful. By contrast, had to stay at the hotel for the second night which was terrible. Booked again last November for the apartment mentioned, not ready or cleaned on our arrival and the delay in arranging this... more

We stayed here for convenience and the price on Boxing Day 2008 so we didn't have drive home that night (had been at a party). Service was friendly and room was large and clean - unusual layout, but very spacious. We paid around 40 pounds, and cannot complain - it fulfilled it's purpose. We even got to keep the car... more

Clean, Warm and comfortable rooms, basically furnished, but overall very good value for money. Breakfast was excellent and staff were helpful. more

Booked twin room for three nights at cheap price. On arrival found it was only a twin in name, it was really the size of a single with two beds. The beds were arranged along one wall with a partition wall between them so you couldnt see each other!! There were flat screen TVs on either side of the partition... more

Stayed one night in a twin room in the attic where the beds were in seperate parts of the room - only one could see the TV and the 'bedside' lights were miles away. The carpet was pretty stained and there was only a hanging rail behind one of the beds - no wardrobe or drawers. The bathroom was clean... more

We stayed at The Beeches Lodge on the 19th Jan 08 - just the one night - 4 adults. we booked just the week before as a last minute decision to visit relatives in Norwich - on arrival, we were given our key to room 3 straight away even though we were slightly earlier than the arrival of 2pm. The... more

I booked this at the last minute and wasn't expecting anything great but was very pleasently surprised. The first room we check into was a lovely clean double with a spotless bathroom but the shower was broken. The receptionist moved us with no hassle to a family room with was equally comfortable and clean. We both had breakfast the next... more

I booked this hotel for my mum and me while we had a one week stay in Norwich. I can not begin to explain how horribly run this hotel was. And I have been telling all my mates to STAY STAY STAY AWAY from this place. First, the receptionist, who was not ver polite nor knew much of the English... more

When we arrived at the hotel/B&B we were informed that our room wasn't ready. However, we checked in and had to prove the rate we had bought with an email confirmation as we purchased on a special offer that the receptionist wasn't aware of. The reception area was dull, unattractive and wasn't very welcoming. When we were given the keys... more
