We were here on a family holiday 3 years ago and went back it was just as we remembered and more food superb, atmosphere friendly (they remembered us and where we were stayed) . Couldn't ask for more.

We stopped for lunch and chose from the two course menu board for £5.45. The portions were just right for a lunch. The food was good and the Woodforde beer excellent. The bar was comfy and the pub is unspoilt with no music or flashing machines. Personal service. Would certainly recommend for lunch. Have not eaten in the evening, nor... More

We ate at the Bell on a Sunday evening. I had roast beef dinner which tasted as though the meat had been reheated in gravy along with average vegetables. My wife had lasagne which again was she thought poor with little meat in the sauce. The one saving grace was the bread and butter pudding which was fairly good.

Happened upon this pub whilst travelling to Yarmouth. The lunchtime menu was incredible value, £5.45 for 2 courses. Soup starter then gammon with a delicious cheesy potato and salad. Friendly place, very clean, food was really tasty.

Friendly atmosphere, and plain cooked food just what we needed after looking round Blickling estate all day. Quite a busy pub for a small village with locals eating always a good sign i think, and reasonably priced

Midweek lunchtime visit. Superb deal on where you can choose two courses from starter, main and dessert for under £6! One choice of starter; an excellent spinach soup; six choices of main course (eg. mince pie, mash and veg etc), and three choices of dessert (eg. rice pudding, fruit crumble, ice cream). It may sound simple but it was lovely.... More

This cosy pub is the local for family. It was very good value and the food was very tasty and filling. The back room, while not so cosy as the main par too the pub has a glass covered well you can look down into. Kids and adults enjoyed their meals and the pizza was huge!

We needed accommodation in this area of Norfolk because we had friends staying nearby. It fitted the bill. At £60 a night for a double en-suite room including breakfast, one couldn't really complain. It wasn't the height of luxury and with the double bed dominating the room there wasn't a lot of space. And the en-suite was tiny with a... More
