Very comfortable, especially the bed! Lovely big bathroom with bath and separate shower. Friendly staff, and excellent food, and wine list not overpriced. Good value, have paid much more for less good accommodation. more

Stayed for two night on business, but would definitely wish to return at my leisure for a weekend break. The hotel is conveniently sited for travel around Norfolk and a stones throw from Norwich centre. We stayed in lovely spacious, well appointed rooms in the main house and felt very welcome and comfortable as soon as we arrived. After a... more

I visited the hotel to see if it would be suitable to stay in the weekend of my wedding, on visiting the hotel it was so clean, spacious and the hotel owner (Chris) so helpful in agreeing to my entourage of bridesmaids, hairdesser, makeup artist and photographer that I booked for the weekend. The day of getting ready could have... more

We stayed here for one Friday night only, with two friends as we had a horse running at Yarmouth Races. We arrived at about 6- 30pm and were served drinks around the pool by Chris the owner. Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms we had in the main building were large, light and airy and very tastefully furnished We... more

This is one of the loveliest hotels we have stayed in, extremely friendly, great food, comfortable room, good location for walks etc. We will definitely book again. If I had to say something negative, it would be that everything on the breakfast menu was to order only, there was absolutely nothing out in the dining room that you could help... more

The absolutely wonderful thing about this place is the food. Simply fabulous, and they were incredibly flexible catering for the dietary restrictions of someone in our group, which was very much appreciated (and all too rare). The staff are great too, welcoming, warm and very willing to help. And now the niggle...it is a small one, but worth passing on.... more

Beautiful, elegant building - lovely peaceful setting, easy 5-10 minute ride into Norwich. Warm staff, made us feel welcome. Took coffee in the garden: garden - lovely, coffee `instant awful`! Food was lovely in the evening and the dining room intimate. But the reason we won't return is the quality of the bedroom. Very small bed - sleeping there was... more

The plus points, a friendly, happy to do anything welcome, a comfortable bed and a very quiet location. But I would have loved to have had the radiators turned on in my room before arrival, the rattle of the bathroom fan silenced, the wireless internet to work in my room and some decent coffee, both in the room and after... more

Mum and I stayed here for a couple of nights and it was everything we could have hoped for. It's a lovely setting for a hotel, our room was large and very clean. Everybody is very friendly and helpful. Oh and the food is wonderful. A great place to return to after a busy day. We could not fault the... more

We have just returned from 4 fabulous days at The Rectory. The room had a very comfortable bed, with modern, clean bathroom and good quality furnishings. The whole hotel is in very good condition. The food is some of the best we have eaten anywhere! We meant to go out to eat 1 night, but enjoyed the meal the night... more
