I booked this after reading previous reviews and this lovely detached house well deserves its' plaudits. Absolutely out of this world - magnificent!!! The hotel was built in 1632, and has many of the original features - it is small - only 7 master bedrooms each with its own lounge (we were lucky enough to have a guided tour). We would like to record our delight to have stayed for a 2 day weekend at this excellent place. We had peace, quiet, beautiful room complete with four poster, jacuzzy, fresh coffee, tea, chocolate, bottled water, biscuits etc. tv, radio, fresh flowers and various books. A very fine Gentleman's Residence dated 1632 that would have been at one time surrounded by glorious countryside, but putting that aside, it's well worth the effort of finding. Once inside you are wanting for nothing - luxurious even sumptious decor, thoughtful and charming little extras...a teddy bear even!
