The hotel was a perfect mix of modern and traditional and the staff and service we received was the best I've had at a hotel. The rooms were clean and well presented and the mirror bar and restaurant were modern and had a brilliant atmosphere. You really wouldn't know you were so close to the city centre. The food at...

We stayed here on a one-night Groupon offer.
The staff were very helpful, although the hotel was a little grubby and could do with a lick of paint. Our room was out the back. Modern furniture but there seemed a bit too much furniture in the room. The TV was the smallest I have seen and you could barely see...

We stayed one night here as going to a party in the area. The look of the hotel was very nice and staff very friendly. However the room was very small (no.32) and I'm sure it wasn't a full size double. The mattress was rock hard. Breakfast was a joke. We waited 15 minutes before anyone came to us. There...

Superb stay yet again in this wonderful hotel, second time in 2012 for us. Great base for the city - short walking distance and Rare restaurant for steak is an absolute must as is 'Whitehaven' just one of the yummy wines on the menu. Personal friendly service, clean modern rooms and great food - nothing more we could ask for....

We moved to this hotel after walking out on our booking at a disastrous hotel, MJB further down on Unthank Road.
The staff were very kind, especially our waiter at breakfast. The rooms were reasonably sized and very clean. The bathroom was new, as were the furnishings.
We were about a 15 minute walk from the centre of Norwich.
We...

First visit for my hubby and immediately upon pulling in to the car park, he commented on how lovely the hotel looked and that was the start of a really enjoyable weekend. Had an executive double room, very tastefully decorated, with sturdy furnishings, (none of this flimsy tack that is so common in reburfished hotels) and very comfortable and cosy....

We took my aged mother to the Georgian House Hotel where she was given the large disabled room on the ground floor, complete with wet room, as promised. Our room wasn't
so big but had plenty of storage space which we've found lacking in many hotels. The public areas are most attractive and the meal we had in the restaurant...
