Looked beautiful outside, entrance nice however the room was awful. Small, shabby and dated and not in anyway boutique. Very expensive for a room that looked worse than a travel lodge. Would not recommend more

This hotel is trying too hard to be something it and its' staff will probably never achieve. The web site convinces you that it is a boutique hotel - this says to me that it should be stylish, usually modern with gadgets, young or youthful staff with an energetic outlook. In reality you have odd sized rooms which have been... more

We chose the Georgian House Hotel for a long weekend over the bank holiday based on reviews and the modern boutique esque decor - we were not disappointed. The Hotel is on the edge of the town, 5 mins walk through a park to centre of Norwich, prob 10-15 to the very centre. It is made up from a series... more

I would like to say I travel a fair bit with my work and it can be hard being away from home, but at the Georgian I feel very relaxed and really enjoy staying with you. The food, staff, rooms and of course food is all great and I take great pleasure in telling people how much I enjoy my... more

Sadly hotel fell foul of my 'first impressions' pet hate which is to try it on by putting you in an awful room before you then have to 'haggle' for an acceptable one. After a long(ish) and late journey and bearing in mind when we arrived it was quiet, they should have bothered to look at our booking request which... more

We stayed in this hotel just over a year ago during the refurbishment and were really happy with the room and service we received - so much so that we decided to book in again for a Friday night. The second visit was by no means a disaster, but I certainly won't be returning! I was initially quoted £115 for... more

Had to attend a friends party in central Norwich and was looking for a central hotel with parking and a half decent restaurant. We had a long drive down from Preston and were greeted by friendly happy staff. The restaurant was fantastic and was very lively on theFriday evening. Food was top draw and it was a great way to... more

I stayed at this hotel New Year's Eve 2007 for one night after finding it on the internet. The Georgian House Hotel combines contemporary furnishings and traditional Georgian surroundings. Firstly, the room was relatively clean. The bathroom was not spotless, but nevertheless, the room was spacious and the furniture was beautiful. Loads of storage space and plenty of amenities. The... more
