My wife & I traveled from Sydney (Australia) and it was our first time in Norwich. We didn't have any transport, so we wanted somewhere close to the centre, (easy walking distance), largish bedroom, en-suit with powerful shower, free wi fi, and a good English breakfast. Wedgewood House fitted all of our requirements, and Elspeth was easy to deal with... More

My wife and I have been staying at Wedgewood House when in Norwich for over 5 years and try to stay in room 1 which we think is very comfortable and suits us. Having stayed in other rooms they are all quality rooms. Very convenient for city access and good parking so close to city centre. Nigel and Elspeth are... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend here, yes the outside is a bit "tatty", as the saying goes, "don't judge a book by its cover". Nigel & Elspeth were extremely good hosts and went that extra mile for us, due to my inability to walk too far they saved us by dropping us off to meet my brother who was over... More

Thanks, Carol, for leaving such a nice review for us. It means a lot. We were delighted to be able to help with transport and with information. We both enjoyed meeting you and chatting with you over the weekend and we’re therefore delighted to read that you enjoyed your stay as well as the breakfast. We look forward to seeing... More

Looked forward to our 3 night stay but was dissapointed. Exterior looked grubby, interior (room 1) while being clean was very tired and dated. On the plus side it is ideally located and breakfast was best we have had in any b&b. Shame about building.

Thanks for your feedback. As far as the exterior is concerned, there are plenty of mentions on Tripadvisor that our building is in need of exterior re-decoration, as I’m sure you will have seen before booking. We can’t argue with this part of your review– it does need doing and it’s in the pipeline. It will be done in due... More

Stayed here for a long weekend whilst exploring Norfolk. The house is right in the centre of Norwich, but still has allocated free car parking onsite down a narrow lane at the side of the house. The owners were very friendly and helpful, with a good knowledge oft the local area, and recommended some great places to eat. The breakfast... More

Stayed here at the weekend with my mum whilst visiting my brother and his wife in Norwich. We stayed in Room 1 which was a very clean, lovely room with en-suite bathroom and a shower that was easy to operate. It also had the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Two fresh towels were provided every day and... More

We chose Wedgewood House because it was near the city centre and had off road parking as well as good reviews. We were not disappointed. Our room was spacious and clean, and had two easy chairs in - so nice not to have sit on the bed to read all the time. Nigel and Elspeth are excellent hosts, nothing is... More

We booked Wedgewood house initially due to its very central location and free parking. However it was also a very clean and welcoming place to stay for a few days and Nigel and Elspeth were very welcoming and friendly. The breakfasts are indeed very nice and a lot of care was taken with my gluten free requirements which I appreciated... More
