Stayed for 2 nights over Easter with my girlfriend and her parents. My girlfriends parents, who are fussy eaters (no garlic and nothing foreign!), stayed DB&B and the hotel staff were very helpful and offered to prepare any food on the menu however they wanted it. The hotel is well located, only 5-10 minutes walk from the city centre, so... more

The staff is great, very friendly and make you feel at home. Food is exceptionally tasty, and the rooms were nice... but I have decided not to change hotel because: 1. I could hear everything that was going outside my window and my door. it was as if all of it was taking place in my room. 2. The cleaner... more

Stayed here last year and heartily recommend it. Easy to access city centre, room was clean tidy and well kept. Bathroom was a bit of an 80's throwback. However the biggest selling point of this hotel must be the food. Two AA Rosettes and you can see why - its excellent, although they should loose the muzak. more

Great hotel, one of the nicest I’ve stayed at for a long time. Stayed at the hotel for two nights on a business trip. The hotel is basically two large townhouses linked by a glass corridor and the rooms are on either ground or first floor, there’s no lift. My single room, although very small was well decorated, clean, tidy... more

This hotel is a 5 minute walk from the city centre, a great location for tourism. There is free on site parking for residents. I noticed some mentions of road noise in earlier reviews, we had room 15, it's at the back so no noise. There are other rooms away from the main road, so it may be worth asking... more

The location is a bonus for anyone needing access to Norwich city centre, being less than half a mile from the pedestrianised shopping area. The hotel is old and this is evident from the high ceilings, creaky floorboards and obscure layout, appearing to be two old dwellings linked by a corridor. Lots of free parking, a nice sized tv with... more

I stayed here for one night in July. The hotel is a short walk from the centre and in a very nice part of Norwich. Whilst my single room was on the small side it was relatively cheap and infinitely superior to a Travelodge as suggested previously. The decor may have been tired but the room was very clean and... more

Visiting Norwich to see friends at the East International Art Exhibition, I had the choice of this Hotel or the travelodge- I am so glad I picked the Annesley! Comfy clean room, not the biggest or actually the quietest I have ever stayed in, but the service, little extras and the fine breakfast more than made up for this! All... more

My husband and I stayed overnight after a school reunion party that I organised. From the time I phoned to make arrangements, until the time we left, nothing was too much trouble. The duty manager made sure that everything for the party was just as I wanted it, and on the night everything was tip top. The food was plentiful... more
