We stayed here for dbb for 3 nights in May. The hotel is on a busy road but set back and noise and disturbance are minimal. I loved the fact that it was an old house with character, very cosy, comfortable, some would say old fashioned but it is refreshing in a world of identikit hotel chains. Room was very... More

Stayed here 3 nights. It's a very pleasant hotel in a good location, only a short walk from the city centre. If you tire yourself out in Norwich you can catch a bus which drops you off outside the hotel. Our room was in the main house, it was clean, comfortable and quiet. I was not very keen on our... We have just returned from a 4 night stay at this lovely, quite small, but very cosy hotel in Norwich. It was very easy to find as it is actually on the A11 as it enters the city. It consists of a number of fairly old buildings in its own grounds, each of which houses a few rooms. The room... More

Chose this hotel for its location, 20 minutes walk to a business appointment through the downtown area. It's a quirky hotel, which I found to be quite charming, however - I cannot state this strongly enough - if you have any mobility issues, bad knees, etc, not for you! The stairs are a challenge, and definitely get help with your... More

Booked in for 3 nights but extended to 5 nights as we had a great room with a nice ensuite. Ate in the hotel restaurant the first night, meal OK but not value for money so didn't bother with the breakfast on any morning. Got back late on our forth night so decided to give the restaurant another try and... More

We came to Norwich for a family wedding and had initially intended to stay at a Premier Inn or Travelodge establishment. However, we left it far too late to book, and none of the above had a room for two nights so we turned to the Annesley. If ever there was a silver lining, this was it! We stayed for... More

Just had an overnight stay at the Annesley House Hotel, and we could not fault the place or the staff. Looked after by everyone here so very well - warm, welcome and very pleasant. The hotel really is a little gem, visit if you can. A fabulous, large, comfy bed in a spotless room. Excellent food and service in a... More

Only a stones throw from the historic centre of Norwich and the retail centre Annesely offers a the perfect base to explore whilst also offering unique accommodation. We stayed in the house alongside and the coach house which were both finished tastefully and comfortably. The area itself is quite nice whilst still being on a main road. The hotel bar... More
