Booked in for one night on a trip back from brighton. Loads of parking, efficient reception servfice and room had that touch of luxury about it. Used the bar and resturant in the evening and the public areas all warm and friendly. Did see some comments about the hotel being cold, but was definatly not the case when we stayed.... more

Visited with some friends for a one night golf break. Weather was superb which naturally makes one much happier. Wonderful building and approach up the long driveway. Golf course was in excellent condition, we played two rounds and the course is outstanding for a hotel, great greens and well maintained. We booked the De-Vere special offer 2 nights Bed & Breakfast with Dinner on the 1st night. After seeing some of the reviews we arrived with some in trepidation. The welcome from reception was warm and courteous and all the staff we meet after that where polite and friendly. The room was large enough, clean and the bed was comfortable.... more

Amazing, period property and extensive, beautiful grounds, very good golf course, if you play, we dont.
