We stayed here for the first week in September, if only I had remembered my waders. Typical British weather (rain), If you come here, don't book a grass pitch as these turn into swamps after it rains. Luckily we were on a hardstanding pitch, but were worried about having to swim to the car when we wanted to go out.... More

We've just returned from our Bank Holdiay weeekend camp at Muntjac Meadow. Initially we tried we book on the main Deersglade site but it was full. In hindsight I'm glad it was as the pitches there's seemed very regimented with little hedges surrounding them. Where'as on the Muntjac Meadow, although we were non-electric which did pose problems, the actual pitches... More

Very nice, clean campsite with a really good play area in the middle for kids. The site felt very safe, (the gate to the site closed at 11pm) with pitches for tents and caravans well marked out. The shower block was lovely with under floor heating, but quite small, only 4 ladies cubicles, 2 showers and 2 private wash basins.... More

Just back from a 3 night stay and overall it was an excellent place to stay. We arrived in driving rain and wondered if we would end up pitching in a quagmire but happily not so. Luckily the rain abated by the time we were ready to pitch and the ground must have very good drainage as we had no... More

We stayed for 6 nights in our tent as a family of 2 adults and 2 kids on the main site. The pitches are very well laid out with hedges and generally large compared to other campsites we have visited. Despite the weather, the shower block was well kept and loads of hot water. I noticed an extra set of... More

Stayed at this caravan and camping park Aug 2015, in a caravan. the site is quite big and there are only 4 ladies toilets in one block and 4 in the other block, there are only 2 showers in each block. they have put additional portacabin showers in, the showers were always busy unless you wanted one at 6.30am or... Stayed last weekend with my husband, four year old son and two year old daughter. We chose Muntjac because the main site was fuill when we booked and we're glad that happened. Muntjac seems a lot more laid back than the main site. The showers are clean and tidy. As an earlier reviewer says, they were being cleaned by a... More

Campervan trip, (pitch 24) we had a electric hookup and hard standing, campers are separated by hedging which gives you your own space, the site allows wood burners good for toasting marshmallows in the evening, (these can be hired from the shop). Underfloor heating in the shower toilet blocks which are clean. Excellent hog roast on Saturday evenings very good... More

Just returned from a great weekend staying on muntjac meadow and what a relaxing place to camp. Considering we were on the overflow the toilets & showers were great and even though the site was full there wasn't really ever a queue for either. Communal campfire every evening is a great chance to melt some marshmellows and mingle. Farm right... More
