Quiet, welcoming, clean and comfortable. Not 5 star because the bed was a bit small. An excellent breakfast and delightful hosts. Location was not as central as we would have liked, but the City is within reasonable walking distance.

This a first class place to stay.Perfectly located with an easy walk into the charming city of Norwich. The welcome could not have been better and the room spacious and spotless. Breakfast was splendid.Quality with choice. We recommend walking into town along the river and visiting the old hospital and cathedral. The cafe in the cathedral is excellent.Good variety of shops... We have experienced many 5-star B&Bs in the UK but The Grove in Norwich is one who deserves this rating. There is nothing to complaint about and as my wife has said: "even the other guests are nice". The rooms are lovely and tasteful furnished, the location is perfect, the owners Sue and Joe are very friendly and always helpful... More

We are delighted that you had such an enjoyable stay and hope that the result on Wednesday didn't spoil your evening! Just in case anybody thinks that Sue has finally managed to get rid of me it's Tony not Joe! (not sure where that came from) More

Lovely B&B. Very private and not uncomfortably intimate as some B&Bs are. Furnishing was fab. Very very clean. You pay for what you get. Worth the money. Non feather bedding supplied and was very comfortable. There just wasn't anything wrong with it!

We have just returned from a two night stay at The Grove and found it to be a perfect spot for a weekend in Norwich. The rooms were large with an en-suite that was nearly as large again. The standard double bed was supremely comfortable and, with no traffic noise, we had two great night's sleep. Sue and Tony are... More

We had a two night break in February in Thorpe room. Very spacious and huge bathroom, both exceptionally clean. Bed was extremely comfortable and lovely linen. Breakfasts were excellent and only wish we stayed longer to try them all! Sue and Tony were very good hosts, always helpful but never intrusive. Location is perfect as it is in walking distance... Excellent B&B, I agree with the positive views already expressed. Our room did have a larger bed for which we paid a bit more but this was offset by the reduced rate for staying 3 nights on a spring break. Welcome warm and friendly, ensuite bathroom big enough for a single bedroom in it's own right and sense of space... More

we were tired from a long drive up from Sussex and were delighted to fall in through the front door to a warm welcome and offer of tea and biscuits. The drive approach should not dismay as the house is well appointed and spotlessly clean. Decor is a very personal matter. Our room (Trowse) was spacious and comfortable but we... More

We had a long weekend here and wished we could have stayed longer, if only to try all the breakfast options! The house is well located, interesting and spacious and our room (Trowse) was very pleasant, nicely furnished and, most importantly, warm. Very comfortable bed (a king size would have been better but you can't have everything) and good bedding.... More

We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us, and discovering the fine city of Norwich. Regarding the points that you raised that caused you some concern, firstly the bed size, we have two rooms that have double beds and one with a king sized bed, which are as described on our website. The TV does have a built... More

Stayed here for one night as part of a romantic weekend. Lovely setting, beautiful house. The room was a perfect balance between cosy and decadent. Our hosts were lovely. Breakfast was delicious. Only complaint would be that we couldn't stay longer!
