A really lovely place to stay if you want to avoid the budget hotels of Norwich. Charming hosts and spacious double bedroom with large bath (no separate shower) wiih a superbly comfortable bed made a business trip memorable. Excellent breakfast facing the expansive garden - watching the rabbits and pheasants in the morning was a treat. Lots of places for... More

I can only echo my comments when I have previously reviewed Washingford House. If you want a quiet country B&B in a beautiful old house, surrounded by lovely gardens, this is the place for you. The rooms are comfortable, with spacious bathrooms. Paris makes a delicious breakfast to order and is a friendly and welcoming host.

Paris could not be a more welcoming hostess. On arrival, I was offered tea and freshly made flapjacks. My bedroom was comfortable and homely, the shower hot and powerful. Next morning's breakfast was first class: Fruit salad, yoghurt and full English breakfast of high quality, local ingredients. It's a great place to stay.

Myself and my wife spent last Saturday night at Washingford House, for a rare night away from town on our own, and we couldn't have picked a more perfect place to stay. Paris is a wonderful host, from the moment we arrived until the moment we left we felt so welcome in her home (her husband was away that weekend).... More

Stayed here for the fourth time and can highly recommend it, as always. Paris and Nigel are pleasant hosts, and Paris herself goes out of her way to be helpful, in all kinds of ways. We are always greeted with tea and home baking, and a chat to catch up since our last visit. The rooms, with spacious bathrooms, overlook... More

Paris and Nigel are very congenial hosts. Their friendliness and hospitality made us feel immediately at home. Paris's food is fabulous and we enjoyed the most delicious meal on our first evening. Breakfast was lovely and we all felt able to enjoy it at leisure. Highly recommended.
